Rules - Registration - Instruction
1. This is a BUDDY tournament. (Choose your own partner or fish alone.)
3. Only Largemouth measuring 15+ inches Smallmouth Bass 18+ inches or more & KY Spotted Bass
measuring 12 inches+ with MOUTH CLOSED will be weighed. Short fish will result in a 1lbs penalty & loss
of fish
4. Golden Rule will be the official board used.
5. Fishing with artificial baits only is authorized. There will be no motor trolling.
6. Shortest fish of each species will be measured prior to weighing.
7. No more than two contestants per boat. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Contestants must check in and pay prior to launch at safe light.
9. Live wells will be checked by members of the Tournament Committee prior to start of tournament.
10. There will be a 4 ounce penalty for each dead fish. (No culling of dead fish)
12. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed. Violators will be disqualified & barred from future events.
13. Competitors who are not at check-in area at appointed time shall be penalized at a rate of 1 pound per
minute. Weight reduction will be taken from largest fish first. (15 minutes late results in automatic
disqualification.)
14. All Federal, State, and Local Regulations shall apply.
15. Five-fish limit per boat.
16. All decisions by tournament officials are final. Tournament liability release form must be signed prior
to participating.
17. Fishing Rods over 8 feet shall be prohibited.
18. All announcements by the Tournament Director at the ramp takes precedence over written rules.

There will be a total of 17 events and to qualify for the Nov 14th event you must fish at least 8 of the 17
opens as either a boater or non-boater. Teams do not need to be the same every event. However both
members must fish at least 8 events themselves and partner with someone that has also fished 8
events. This event will be free to those who qualify except the big fish pot will be an additional $10.00
per team. We will not provide a boat or boater for a qualified non-boater. Nor will we force a boater to
take a non-boater if they do not want to.
